🐢 Happy World Turtle Day! 🌍🐢

Today, we had an incredible workshop organized in collaboration with the WildLife World School for our youngest kids' group. 🎉👧🧒 We dove into the fascinating world of marine turtles, learning about the challenges they face and how we can protect them. 🌊💙

During the workshop, every kid had the opportunity to build their very own turtle. 🎨🐢
We also played an exciting turtle game, which helped us understand the various threats that turtles encounter throughout their lives. From nesting on beaches to navigating the open ocean, these resilient creatures face many obstacles. 🌴🌊

By educating our young ones about the challenges faced by marine turtles, we hope to instill a sense of responsibility and inspire them to become stewards of our oceans. 🌊🌏 Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for these majestic creatures.

A big thank you to the WildLife World School and to all the amazing kids who participated with such enthusiasm! 🙌👏 Let's continue to celebrate and protect our precious marine turtles today and every day. 💙🐢

🌊Mara was spotted more than 60 times between 2017 and today, she is usually moving around Marsa Asalaya and Marsa Egla and was not spotted for a couple of years.
🤩We spotted her at the end of 2022 twice, and now again!
