Turtle Manta

Manta: The Little Gem of Sha’ab Claude

Manta-adopted

Small, agile, and incredibly precious: meet Manta. Discovered by Amandine Chanvrier at the beautiful site of Shaโ€™ab Claude, this juvenile hawksbill is one of the newest and youngest additions to our catalog. Named for its graceful, almost bird-like movements through the water, Manta is a reminder of the fragility and beauty of life on the reef.

As a juvenile, Mantaโ€™s survival is key to the future of the Red Seaโ€™s turtle populations. Every scute on its shell is a piece of a puzzle we are just beginning to solve. By adopting Manta, you are investing in the long-term future of conservation, ensuring this “little gem” has the chance to grow into a legend of the reef.
