Turtle Layla

Layla – The Pale Beauty of Naama Bay

Layla-adopted

Introducing Layla, a recently discovered green sea turtle who made her first appearance in Naama Bay in the summer of 2025. What makes Layla truly special is her unusually pale shell, which makes her stand out against the turquoise waters of the bay.

She was first seen resting peacefully near the shallow reef, blending in with the sunlight shimmering through the water – almost like a ghostly, gentle guardian of the seagrass meadows.

By adopting Layla, you’ll help us keep watch over this rare and radiant turtle as we learn more about her unique story and her quiet life in the Red Sea.
