Viktoria – The Seagrass King of Marsa Mubarak
Viktoria is a majestic adult male green turtle who calls the lush seagrass meadows of Marsa Mubarak his home. First spotted in 2025, he quickly became a familiar sight grazing peacefully among the beds of emerald seagrass, often accompanied by curious fish that seem to follow his every move.
Thanks to the dedication of Volker Wollert, Viktoria was officially added to our catalog and is now ready to be adopted. Calm and graceful, Viktoria plays an important role in maintaining the health of Marsa Mubarak’s seagrass ecosystem — and with your adoption, you can help us continue monitoring and protecting him and his habitat.

Your digital adoption package includes:

- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
