Meet Uwe – The Newcomer of Marsa Mubarak
Uwe is a green turtle first spotted in 2025 and recently welcomed into our catalog thanks to the contribution of Volker Wollert, who proudly adopted him. Still a fresh face in the bay, Uwe has already been seen enjoying the rich seagrass meadows of Marsa Mubarak. Curious and lively, he seems to be settling in quickly, adding his own charm to the vibrant marine community of the bay.

Adoption plans
Your digital adoption package includes:
- A personalized digital adoption certificate
- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
