Orion – The Mysterious Star of the Reef
Some turtles pass through like shooting stars — brief, bright, and unforgettable. Orion is one of them. A juvenile hawksbill turtle, Orion was seen only once in 2023 at Middle Reef by Amandine Chanvrier. That single sighting was enough to spark curiosity and wonder.
Where did she come from? Where is she now? No one knows for sure. But that moment — a flash of a tiny shell in the sunlit shallows — reminds us that every turtle has a story, even if we only get to read one page of it.

Your digital adoption package includes:
- A personalized digital adoption certificate
- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
