Mike: Bent but Bold
On September 26, 2024, Mike was spotted for the first—and so far only—time gliding through the waters of Makadi Bay Reef. What made this green sea turtle stand out was a noticeable deformation in the carapace, a mark of resilience rather than weakness. Despite the irregular shape, Mike moved gracefully, a living reminder that not all survivors wear symmetry. Who knows where the current will take him next?

Your digital adoption package includes:

Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
