Lio: The Silent Drifter
On October 15, 2024, Lio made a brief yet unforgettable appearance in the waters of Marsa Mubarak. This green sea turtle, seen only once, moved effortlessly with the tide, as if following an invisible path. No one knows where Lio’s journey began or where it will lead next, but for one moment, Marsa Mubarak was part of the adventure.

Your digital adoption package includes:
- A personalized digital adoption certificate
- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
