Jocker’s story
Meet Jocker, the charismatic green turtle frequently seen at the Wadi Gimal DC Housereef. Since it first sighting on May 7, 2018, Jocker has been recorded 22 times, most recently on January 24, 2024.
Jocker’s journey is one of resilience and fascination. It has been observed gracefully swimming in the warm, clear waters of the Red Sea, often drawing the attention of divers and marine enthusiasts. His appearances, especially in the mornings, highlight the rich biodiversity of the Wadi Gimal DC Housereef and the crucial role green turtles play in maintaining the health of seagrass beds.

Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
