Florine – A True Survivor

Florine, a green sea turtle of unknown gender, was first spotted on January 18, 2023, and has been seen about ten times since. Overcoming incredible challenges, Florine endured the partial loss of her left rear flipper early in her life but managed to thrive despite the odds. Tragically, in September 2024, she suffered another injury, losing her right front flipper entirely. Remarkably, in December 2024, Florine was sighted once again, and her condition appeared to have improved, showing her incredible resilience and will to survive.
