Meet Ewald – A Red Sea Mystery Unfolded!
Newly registered in our official catalog (2026), Ewald has quite a fascinating story! We initially thought this green turtle was a resident of Palace – Siva Port Ghalib North, but thanks to dedicated photo-ID tracking, we discovered Ewald’s true home turf: Coraya Bay!
A huge thank you to Volker Wollert, who not only contributed key sightings and photographic data to make this registration possible, but also immediately decided to symbolically adopt Ewald!
While we are still uncovering the secrets of Ewald's journeys and habits across the Red Sea, one thing is certain: there is so much more to learn. With the help of Volker and all our amazing Turtle Watchers, we look forward to tracking Ewald’s underwater adventures for years to come!
