Eno’s Story
Meet Eno, an adult male Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) residing in the crystal-clear waters of Marsa Mubarak.
First spotted and photographed in 2024 by Volker and Reina Wollert, Eno immediately captured their hearts. Following his official identification and entry into the TurtleWatch Egypt 2.0 research catalog, Volker and Reina chose to show their deep commitment to Red Sea conservation by officially adopting him!
As an adult male, Eno plays a crucial role in the local marine ecosystem and the future of his species. Thanks to adopters like Volker and Reina, our team can continue tracking Eno’s sightings, monitoring his health, and protecting his home in Marsa Mubarak.
