Aisha – The Bright New Star of Naama Bay
Meet Aisha, a green sea turtle who surprised us with her first sighting in Naama Bay during the summer of 2025. Unlike most turtles who prefer to hide, Aisha was spotted gracefully gliding over the sandy seabed before settling down to rest near the seagrass beds.
She has a lively spark about her – curious about passing fish and often seen lifting her head to peek at divers before slowly drifting back into her calm routine.
By adopting Aisha, you’ll support the protection of her vibrant bay and help us follow her story as she grows and explores her Red Sea home.

Your digital adoption package includes:
- A personalized digital adoption certificate
- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
