While most of the reef is still waking up, this handsome adult male hawksbill is already on the move. Since early 2024, he has made these crystal-clear waters his permanent home, becoming a beloved local icon.
If you are an early riser, you’ll likely spot him gliding gracefully through the bay in the golden morning light, patrolling his territory with the quiet confidence of a seasoned traveler. As an adult male of a critically endangered species, HER8 EI is a rare and vital ambassador for Red Sea biodiversity.

Your digital adoption package includes:

- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
