Meet Lychee – The Little Explorer of Ras Umm Sid
Lychee is a young hawksbill turtle who made her first appearance at Ras Umm Sid, Sharm El Sheikh, in 2025. She was spotted gliding gracefully through the deep blue, as if she owned the ocean! Thanks to Michael Schmidt, who both discovered and adopted her, Lychee officially became part of our catalog. Still small but full of curiosity, she seems to enjoy the freedom of the open water, exploring the reef and beyond. Who knows what adventures await her in her new home?

Your digital adoption package includes:
- A personalized digital adoption certificate
- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
