Yanara is a graceful green sea turtle who made her first appearance at Ras Ghamila in the early summer of 2025. We discovered her peacefully resting, half-hidden among the vibrant corals of the reef – a true picture of calm and serenity.
She’s a shy but curious soul, often seen drifting lazily near the shallows before tucking herself back into her favorite coral hideout for a nap. By adopting Yanara, you’ll help us continue to protect her tranquil home and follow her journey in the Red Sea.

Your digital adoption package includes:

- A fact-sheet about the turtle you are adopting and the story of your turtle
- Your adopted sea turtle featured on our website
- Special post on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for your turtle
Once we receive confirmation of the donation, the turtle’s adoption form (make sure the name on the donation and the adoption form match) and the payment receipt, we will issue you (or the recipient) with the adoption certificate with details about the sea turtle. Please allow 7 working days, following receipt of payment, for the certificate to be issued.
