Turtle Onyx
Strong, graceful, and unmistakable, Onyx is an adult male hawksbill turtle who has been gliding through the vibrant waters of Middle Reef since 2023. First spotted by Amandine Chanvrier, he quickly earned a reputation as a quiet guardian of the reef.
With his dark, richly patterned shell and calm demeanor, Onyx seems to move with purpose, patrolling the coral gardens like he knows every twist and turn. Thereβs a quiet wisdom in the way he swims β a reminder of how much life the reef holds, and how vital it is to protect it.
