Turtle Kawi
Kawi, a green turtle, was first sighted at Makadi Bay Reef in November 2018.
Over the course of several months, Kawi became a regular visitor to the reef, known for its resilience and determination.
In addition to its frequent sightings, Kawi faced a challenging period when it sustained an injury, but fortunately he made a remarkable recovery as we kept monitoring his conditions with the help of the local dive centres.
This turtleโs strength and survival serve as an inspiring testament to the importance of marine turtle conservation.
Kawiโs presence continues to be a symbol of hope for sea turtles, especially those overcoming adversity.
